2.2.2 Technical summary for domestic heat-supply metering
Through introduction to above current domestic heat-supply metering and regulation technology, it has been summarized with following characteristics:
(1) Technical characteristics for heat metering during the pilot phase
1) Indoor heating system of each demonstrative residential area has been altered to a certain extent, with single-pipe series-loop heating system changed into single-pipe cross-over heating system.
2) The same building shall adopt different indoor heating system, which is mainly for comparison test.
3) Several heat metering methods shall be taken such as household heat meter, general heat meter for building plus radiator heat distribution meter, and household hot water meter.
4) Thermostatic valve shall be installed at inlet pipe of each radiator for auto-control of compartment temperature in order to achieve the purpose of energy-saving.
5) Technologies used basically refer to foreign method, product is mainly imported, and cost of heat metering system is high, which is unfit for spread and application to a large extent.
6) There is much research and pilot work in heat metering and temperature control for indoor system, while is less in dynamic control of heating network.
