This building Specification with accompanying General Arrangement Plan will describe a Multi Purpose General Cargo Vessel.The vessel will be suitable for carring general cargoes and bulk cargoes such as coal, grain, steel coils etc.
The vessel will be a single screw vessl with the machinery, auxiliary equipment and accommodation located aft.
Main engine equipped for HFO 380. Generator diesel engines and boiler for gas oil DMA. The main engine drives a controllable pitch propeller via a reduction gearbox.
For generating electric power, two main driven diesel generator sets of approx 150kWe each, one emergency/harbour generator set of approx 84kWe and one shaft generator of 400kWe will be installed, subject to load balance calculations. The main diesel driven generators, 400V, 50Hz, will be capable for parallel take over with the shaft generator and emergency/harbour set.
One cargo hold with a total grain capacity of abt.274.800cft. excluding seperation bulkheads.
